Surface treatments (PDF)

The prototype is built layer by layer in 3D using selective laser sintering, or SLS for short. Both simple and complex components can be produced quickly and cost-effectively using this manufacturing process. A variety of plastic materials can be selected.

This 3D printing process results in smooth surfaces. The moulds are precise and remarkably robust. Materials such as Accura Xtreme and Accura ClearVue epoxy resins are used. Various surface treatments are also available for this process.

High Speed Cutting (HSC) enables us to offer complex pieces with maximum precision at very short notice. For example, high-precision functional and illustrative models can be produced from a variety of materials ranging from plastic and light metals to titanium.

Vacuum moulding technology is the ideal process for fast and precise production of complex prototypes and small series in plastic. Materials such as resins and silicone can be used.

Low-pressure moulding is the preferred alternative when quantities of up to 1,000 units are required. The greater degree of automation compared to vacuum moulding means that higher quantities can be produced cost-effectively. Various resins are used.
